End of speculation: Arrest warrant appears on Instagram without a mask for the first time in months.

In the current documentary “Babo – The Arrest Warrant Story”, the 39-year-old musician arrest warrant, whose real name is Aykut Anhan, stands out because of his changed face – his nose is clearly disfigured and has collapsed. Since the beginning of 2025, arrest warrant has only appeared at events and concerts wearing a mask – sometimes with a balaclava, like at the “Babo” premiere at the end of October 2025, and sometimes with a pulled-up scarf, like at his last club concerts. Now the arrest warrant has published a current photo for the first time in which his face can also be seen.

Speculation about masks on social media

The background to his covered face was widely discussed on social media. After the release of his documentary, in which his drug addiction was openly discussed, the reason for the face covering was obvious to many – the visible physical deterioration caused by years of cocaine use. Experts suspect that a chemical burn to the nasal mucosa and nasal septum – a known consequence of excessive cocaine consumption – could be behind it. Many media therefore interpreted wearing a mask as an attempt to hide his changed face. Fans also speculated whether the rapper might have had a nose job. An aesthetic correction of the nose seemed understandable to many, but has so far remained unconfirmed.

The new post on Instagram shows an arrest warrant for the first time after a long time without a mask:

What the new photo reveals

The rapper posted the photo on his Instagram channel on November 25th. It shows Anhan next to the famous Goethe statue in Frankfurt am Main. Wearing a fur coat and hat, he looks past the camera in the black and white image. However, when attempting to zoom in on Anhan’s face, one can only speculate about an aesthetic correction of his nose. In the caption, Anhan thanks his fans: “I was never here for hype or streams, but for art, for culture. Hip-hop means: supporting each other, giving a voice to the voiceless, making the block heard. Thank you for your trust. Thank you for your love.”

One thing is certain: arrest warrant is breaking his mask era for the time being – but it is still unclear whether he will appear at his upcoming shows without a face covering.
