Lisa Müller is back in equestrian sport. Thomas Müller’s wife was on duty in Stuttgart in November. She didn’t like the evaluation of her performance.
The equestrian athlete Lisa Müller has clearly criticized the media. After her seventh place at the German Masters in Stuttgart, she felt she was treated unfairly by the media. “You just have to say: seventh place in the field is good,” she said on RTL. The wife of footballer Thomas Müller also agreed with her coach Isabell Werth. Werth had said that Müller was under pressure “because everyone is watching. She can’t make a mistake without the whole world talking about it.”
Müller: “As soon as I don’t win, I will be portrayed in the normal newspapers, which have no idea about my sport, as if I had failed.”
She told the “Abendzeitung” that she found it difficult to bear the reports of people who “to put it mildly have less than no idea” about the sport of dressage.
The reason for their criticism: Other athletes have more experience and are therefore better anyway. In Stuttgart, for example, 53-year-old Anabel Strahlhol won. In order to gain experience, Müller wants to continue taking part in many competitions. At the beginning of December, for example, it starts in Salzburg.
