Fog and a few accidents will make for a busier morning rush hour than normal this morning.
There is a heavy traffic jam on the A7 between the Avenhorn exit and Purmerend-Noord after an accident. The left lane was closed and the delay was more than an hour.
Rijkswaterstaat reports that an ambulance and a recovery vehicle are on their way to the accident on the A7. The road has just cleared again and the traffic jam is slowly clearing up.
There is also a delay of more than 40 minutes after an accident on the N9 between Sint Maartenszee and Julianadorp-Zuid.
It is also busier with traffic jams around Amsterdam.
