Dressed Like Boys is the biggest West Flemish contender, with six nominations. It is the band of Jelle Denturck from Ingelmunster.
Brihang can win twice: in the Video Clip and Hip Hop categories. He also won in that category last year, the rapper from Knokke-Heist was the only West Flemish winner at the time.
Another West Flemish name can win a prize at the MIAs: the Kortrijk doom metal band Amenra has been nominated in the ‘Live Act’ category.
The MIAs will be presented on February 4 in Brussels.
