Vappu Pimiä hosted his last TTK broadcast on Sunday.
TV star Vappu Pimiä’s career Dancing with the stars – as the host of the program came to an end on Sunday evening. He has hosted the favorite show for fifteen seasons.
After the finale, the program’s working group started the traditional karonka, or thanksgiving party.
The TV star’s evening has apparently stretched well into the morning, as Pimi has posted on her Instagram stories picture by himself in the elevator on Monday morning at 6:09.

Pimiä’s hair is in the same bun in the picture as in the broadcast seen on Sunday evening and she is holding a big bouquet of flowers. A British singer is playing in the update Bonnie Tyler’s iconic Holding out for a Hero -paragraph.
Pimiä described his mood to Iltalehte after the final broadcast.
– It actually feels really good. I’m even a little surprised myself, because I thought I was crying my eyes out and going crazy.
– Maybe I’ll say a few words at the beginning of Karonka, and there may be sensitization. It’s been a really bad autumn here and I’ve dealt with this so much myself that there’s no sadness here, the TV star told Iltalehte.
Pimiä said in August that he would leave his favorite show. The decision was made a couple of years ago.
– I’m still having a lot of fun, but this is also a pretty heavy squeeze in terms of time. This practically takes the entire autumn season out of my life and the weekends out of my family’s life. I still want to do other things, Pimiä described to MTV.

However, Pim does not disappear entirely from the screen. He will be seen Masterchef Finland as a new judge.
– When I told the channel a year and a half ago that I was going to quit TTK, they immediately asked what I wanted to do. I said that I am in no rush to do anything new, but let’s think about what would be good and suitable for me. Last spring, I had the idea that there might be a spot on Masterchef, and being a lively girl, I picked up the phone and called the channel that if you are thinking about changes to the program, I am available, Pimiä writes.
– The best was the channel’s response, which went something like this: “It’s not true! We were just talking today that you might be interested in this?”. And this is how the journey towards the dune of my dreams began! Pimiä wrote in his Instagram update in October.
