New job for ex-biathlon star

At the last Olympic Winter Games, Tiril Eckhoff won three medals. This time she is accompanying the competition in a different capacity.
Former biathlete Tiril Eckhoff has a new task. As the company Warner Bros. Discovery announced, the 35-year-old will work for the streaming service HBO Max at the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo. Eckhoff is on loan from TV2 for this period. She usually works as an expert for the Norwegian broadcaster.
“The Olympic Games are the biggest event for an athlete,” Eckhoff is quoted as saying in the statement. She “can’t wait to share these moments with viewers at home.”
Eckhoff ended her career in 2023. The Norwegian can look back on an extremely successful career. She won two Olympic gold medals. She also won silver and bronze three times each. She secured three of her medals at the last Winter Games in Beijing.
Meanwhile, Eckhoff won ten gold medals at world championships. She also emerged as the winner of the overall World Cup from the 2020/2021 season.
