Just like last year, a beautiful Christmas tree decorates the Grote Markt. The tree was felled in a garden in Rollegem on Wednesday, November 19, and transported to Kortrijk’s Grote Markt by exceptional transport. The beautifully illuminated tree will remain there until January 7.
Wouter Allijns, Alderman for Events: “With one of the largest Christmas trees in the country, the Ferris wheel, 1,352,533 Christmas lights, Santa Claus’ Land, the Winter Garden and more than 1,000 Christmas trees in the streets, our city will become one big Christmas city. This will be a Winter in Kortrijk that we will not soon forget.”
