The National Wolf Information Point is open from today. Anyone can come here with questions and concerns about wolves in the Netherlands. The information point offers current and factual information. It is accessible via the website www.landelijkinformatiepuntwolven.nl and telephone number 0800-1212.
Questions and concerns
Wolves live in the Netherlands. Many people have questions or concerns about this. Until now, factual information could be found in various places. The National Wolf Information Point is changing that. It answers questions about wolves, such as: how and where do wolves live? Can I safely go to the forest with my child, dog or horse? How do I protect my animals?
There is also room for sharing concerns and experiences. The National Wolf Information Point not only offers information, but also a listening ear.

The information point uses scientific research, recognized sources and current national data Wolf reporting center.
Frequently asked questions and new insights are regularly added to the website. In this way, the National Wolf Information Point contributes to knowledge about wolves in the Netherlands.
Clients
The National Wolves Information Point was established by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature and the joint provinces, united in the Interprovincial Consultation. It is part of the National Approach to Wolves. The implementation is in the hands of BIJ12.
