– On Monday, my life stopped. I faced a sadness that was so great that I still can’t fathom it and time will tell how it will take shape over time, writes Olga Temosen Julia-sister on social media.
Temonen (born Koskikallio) died at the age of 47 at his home in Iiti. He had brain cancer.
Temos has a total of four siblings: sisters VeeraJuulia and Saima and big brother Ivar. Juulia’s sister wrote a touching publication about her sister and her passing on Facebook. Several joint photos of the siblings over the years have been added to the publication.
– My sister Olga was the person who influenced my life the most. My number one support pillar. With Olga, I shared all the smallest sorrows and joys, at every stage of life. All our childhood we lived like twins. Always together everywhere and our hearts are always on each other’s side, he writes.
He writes that he has had to face grief now greater than he could have ever feared.
– Now we just have to learn to live with it and maybe we can learn something from it. I know that it will change its shape over the years, because even now some memories come back to mind brighter than ever in the last two years, which Olga’s illness has overshadowed our lives.
He writes that despite the sadness, life goes on and thanks those who remembered in sadness.
– But the biggest thanks goes to you Olga – for all of life. You always made it better for me time after time. Have a good trip to the light my love. I know we’ll see each other again.
Temonen’s relatives said earlier that Olga fell asleep surrounded by her family, peacefully and with great love. Olga Temonen’s widow Tuukka Temonen told Iltalehti that Olga’s sisters and a few friends came to say goodbye to her the day before her death.
In addition to Tuukka’s spouse, Olga Temo was missed by the couple’s children, Olga’s family members and loved ones, and numerous Finns. Several obituaries for Temonen’s memory were published on social media.
– Yes, I knew that Olga had many friends and she was a very well-liked person. I think it’s great that we get to share this loss with others as well. It makes it easier and helps me to move on from the situation, Tuukka said earlier.
