The NFL is gradually entering the home stretch as Week 11 ends. That doesn’t mean there wasn’t plenty of spectacle again. Josh Allen played a crazy game and Drake Maye joins prominent company – also thanks to the Philadelphia Eagles, who turned Jared Goff’s evening into a nightmare.

From Travis Kelce’s yardage gain in the presence of Taylor Swift to the number of chicken wings at the Super Bowl: the US experts don’t miss any statistics. sport.de shows you the craziest stats and records from the NFL’s eleventh week.
The craziest stats and records from NFL Week 11
Prescott overtakes Cowboys icon
Dak Prescott is in impressive form this season, which he demonstrated once again in the Monday Night Game. With now 41 games with three or more passing touchdowns, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo has dethroned Tony Romo in terms of such performances in a Cowboys uniform.
Wide receiver George Pickens, who was once again the favorite passer, also helped. Pickens currently has 58 catches and averaged 16.0 yards. If he holds this position until the end of the season, he would be one of two players, along with Randy Moss, to achieve this in the first four seasons of his career.
The man with two faces
Christian McCaffrey is essentially a running back, but there is hardly a player in this position who is as vague about it as CMC. McCaffrey had his 17th game on Sunday, scoring one touchdown on the ground and one through the air. No one had ever managed this before.
It is also his fourth season in which he can look back on at least five touchdowns in both categories. Nobody has managed that yet either.
Maye in prominent company
Someone who still has a lot of his career ahead of him is Patriots quarterback Drake Maye. But he is already playing at the highest level. He currently leads the NFL with 2,836 passing yards, but also with a completion rate of 71.9. No player who was also a passing leader would have had such a high completion rate at the end of the season.
In any case, it has only happened five times since 1980 that a quarterback has managed to lead both statistics at the end of a season. But Maye would be in good company with Drew Brees (2011), Tom Brady (2007), Peyton Manning (2003), Kurt Warner (2001) and Brett Favre (1998).

Eagles give Goff an unpleasant evening
Drake Maye has the Philadelphia Eagles to thank for the fact that he leads the NFL in completion rate. These gave Jared Goff a really nasty evening in the Sunday Night Game.
Goff had the lowest completion rate of his career at 37.8 percent. He previously led the NFL with 74%. It was the first time that a team was able to keep a quarterback who previously had a completion rate of over 70% (with at least 100 passes) under 40% in a game.
Josh on his own
We stay on the quarterback theme, at least in part. There have been 183 players in the past who threw three touchdown passes of over 25 yards in a game. There were 357 players who had three rushing touchdowns in a game.
And then there is only one player who did both in one game and that is Josh Allen, who achieved this feat in the wild game against the Buccaneers.
It was only the second time ever that a player managed to score three passing and three rushing touchdowns in one game. The first time was less than a year ago and was also attributed to Josh Allen.
THE quarterback hunter
Meanwhile, the “quarterback” species is a thorn in Myles Garrett’s side. There is no other way to explain how much he is on the hunt for the playmakers. At the weekend he had another four sacks. For the second time this season. Only Karl Mecklenburg (1985), HOF Reggie White (1986) and Chandler Jones (2019) have had two such games in a season.
Garrett is also the only player to record 12 sacks in six consecutive seasons.
The king of garbage time
The Arizona Cardinals had no chance early on against the San Francisco 49ers. When they shifted down a few gears at the back, Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett was still able to secure a record. At the end of the game he had 47 completions. There had never been more in NFL history.
Tight ends for young and old
Finally, we take another look at the tight end position, where Brock Bowers has already secured an NFL record. He passed Lions tight end Sam LaPorta for the most receptions in his first two career seasons.
So while a young tight end is drawing attention, an older iron in the tight end fire had reason to celebrate (even if only briefly). Travis Kelce became the Kansas City Chiefs’ all-time leader with his 84th receiving touchdown. Anyone who knows the ambitious veteran knows that he would have preferred to win the important game against the Broncos instead.
