The Máxima Medical Center (MMC), with branches in Eindhoven and Veldhoven, suffered a network failure on Tuesday. Operations, other appointments and treatments in the hospital are therefore cancelled.
The affected patients will be called personally, the hospital reports on its website. “Due to the malfunction, Maxima MC can only be reached for urgent questions. Therefore, do not call the hospital if you have a question that can wait until the next day. This also applies to making or rescheduling appointments.”
Hospital care for current patients continues as normal. Telephone appointments and web consultations are also cancelled.
The hospital leaves it unclear what exactly is going on. The MMC was already experiencing a telephone disruption on Monday evening. The problems started due to an unknown cause. On Tuesday, the Máxima MC is talking about a network failure.
