Ella Häkkinen jumps into McLaren’s driver development program.

An F1 legend Mika Häkkinen 14 year old daughter Ella Häkkinen has signed an agreement with the F1 team McLaren. The news is told by McLaren on the website.
Häkkinen gets to participate in the development program for young drivers, which is supposed to open paths, especially for women, into motor sports.
Häkkinen is the youngest driver in the development program. In addition to her, there are two other Ellas in the same group: Ella Lloyd20, and Ella Stevens19.
According to McLaren, Ella Häkkinen won her first major international competition last year Champions of the Future Academy in the event. After this, he has achieved other victories and podium places in different parts of Europe.
CEO of McLaren Zak Brown is proud that the stable also invests in women.
– I hope this message reaches all the incredibly talented female kart drivers, drivers, engineers, mechanics, marketers and accountants. Our sport is open to everyone, says Brown.
Mika Häkkinen, 57, won the F1 series world championship with McLaren in 1998 and 1999.
