Borussia Dortmund apparently has their sights set on a young talent from Sweden. According to “Bild”, the black and yellow are interested in Kevin Filling from AIK – the club from which today’s world-class striker Alexander Isak once came to the Bundesliga. After the “AfricaFoot” portal had already reported on the interest at the weekend, the newspaper confirmed this with its own information.

Filling is part of AIK’s first team at the age of 16 and has made nine appearances this season. On his debut in June, when he was even allowed to start, the 1.85 tall right-footer scored straight away to make it 2-0 in a win against IFK Göteborg (3-0). In September he added another goal, in the 2-1 win against IF Brommapojkarna after coming on as a substitute, he scored the winning goal in the 96th minute.
At the latest, Filling had landed on the radar of the top international clubs, and Dortmund is apparently one of them. According to the original AfricaFoot report, Manchester United are also among the long list of interested parties for the attacker, and AIK is considering a transfer fee of 8 million euros.

Dortmund has not been deterred by millions of dollars for U18 professionals in the past. A seven-figure sum has already been paid for a player aged 16 or 17 five times, most recently in 2022 for Julien Duranville and in 2024 for Justin Lerma, who, however, will only join the team after his 18th birthday in 2026. In 2017, BVB gave 8.6 million euros for the then 17-year-old Isak.
