It’s a year full of highlights for Anna Hall. The heptathlon world champion has now received an application – and has happily accepted it.

The year couldn’t have gone better for Anna Hall, both in terms of sport and her personal life: the American was crowned heptathlon world champion in Tokyo in September. The 24-year-old is in second place in the all-time best list. In her private life, she often gives her fans insights into her everyday sporting and private life on Instagram. It was only in October that she posted a declaration of love to her boyfriend Darius Slayton. Now the couple is engaged.

Hall and the New York Giants football player shared a series of photos on Instagram. In the first snapshot, Slayton can be seen proposing to the athlete on a tartan track. The athlete kneels on the blue floor while the heptathlete bends down to him, visibly moved.

The athlete wears a short black dress combined with a leather jacket and black high heels. She holds a small clutch in her hand. Your partner, on the other hand, opts for a sporty, elegant outfit, with his bright red soles striking – a reference to famous designer shoes.

Alongside the pictures, Hall wrote: “My whole heart.” Then she added: “In the exact place where we first met. I had to say yes to me and you forever.” The world champion also posted a red heart. There were numerous congratulations under the post, including German sprint ace Gina Brückenkemper.

It was only in October that Hall shared a declaration of love for Slyton with her fans. “A year with us. I love you, honestly,” she wrote. The couple celebrated their one-year anniversary about a month ago. Now the two athletes have taken the next step in their relationship.
