The love for dogs is central to the 61st edition of the Eurodogshow in Kortrijk. One of the big crowd pullers are the inspections. These attract hundreds of participants from various European countries.
Among the many dogs and known breeds, there are also unique four-legged friends here, such as an otterhound, a breed of dog trained to hunt otters. Although they are threatened with extinction, owner Els Dewulf says: “Because otter hunting has come to a standstill in Great Britain, they have forgotten about these dogs. They are threatened with extinction. We only have around 900 in the whole world.”
