“Belgians involved” in case of tourists shooting at civilians during Sarajevo siege

Milan’s public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into ‘weekend snipers’, including many Italians, who allegedly paid the Serbian army to shoot at civilians as ‘war tourists’ during the siege of Sarajevo in the early 1990s. This was announced by the Italian press and the former mayor of Sarajevo. ‘La Libre Belgique’ writes that Belgians were also involved.
