Shock for Germany – outsider leads early

Germany qualified for the round of 16 at the U17 World Cup without defeat. Burkina Faso is now waiting there for the DFB selection. The live ticker.
Draws against Colombia and North Korea, a win against El Salvador. Germany’s group stage at the U17 World Cup in Qatar was changeable. Nevertheless, national coach Marc-Patrick Meister’s team qualified for the round of 16 as group winners. It’s now up against Burkina Faso.
32nd minute – Prenaj tries from a distance, but Ouattara in the West African goal is able to direct the ball over the crossbar. The subsequent corner brings nothing.
30th minute – Bitter news for Germany: Midfielder Ebu Bekir Is has to leave the field with an eye injury; Christian Prenaj comes on to replace him.
29th minute – Burkina Faso’s Coulibaly comes through on the left, but Cologne’s Maik Afri Akumu sprints backwards and tackles him.
25th minute – Wisdom Mike gets through well on the left, but fails with a dribble in the penalty area. The DFB team defended well in return.
22nd minute – It’s always the same picture so far. Germany gets well towards the penalty area, but then there is a problem. And the fast opponents switch over coldly.
16th minute – That was close! Once again the West Africans win the ball and come down the right side. But the striker narrowly missed the cross in the center.
13th minute – It’s the expected game. Germany has the ball, Burkina Faso defends passionately and switches quickly.
8th minute – Germany wants to respond quickly, but FC Bayern’s Wisdom Mike’s shot is just parried by the goalkeeper.
6th minute – GOAL FOR BURKINA FASO! Shock for Germany! Burkina Faso conquers a bad German pass and attacks for the first time. Zongo gets the ball on the right side of the penalty area, is hardly attacked, moves inside and chases the ball into the far corner.
4th minute – Bekir Is’s corner yields nothing, Burkina Faso is able to clear the ball.
3rd minute – Germany immediately puts pressure on them and is awarded a corner.
1st minute – Let’s go! Germany has offense.

Before the start – Germany is the favorite in this game, but Burkina Faso only lost to the USA in the group stage, but beat the Czech Republic.
