“That experience just makes it worse, because there have been so many times where I’ve worked really hard on something, loved something very much, and then released it to the world and the world responded with, ‘Boo! I hate you!’ It is so terrible,” says the 35-year-old American. The latest film in which the actress appears, Die My Love, premiered last week to mostly good reviews.
Yet she happily continues with it, Lawrence continues. “When I read a script, talk to the director, and we go on set and we start, I somehow forget that this part of the process is going to happen,” she says. “I am very blessed and consider myself very fortunate. But it has been a very scary few months.”
