From the Novita yarn factory in Koria, Kouvola, about seven million yarns are sold to stores every year.

The corona pandemic ignited a great passion for knitting in Finns, which has decreased a little since the return to normal conditions, but definitely not extinguished.

According to estimates, more than a million Finns enjoy knitting.

Novita’s wool comes from West Yorkshire, England, because there are not enough wool-producing sheep in Finland.

A long arc
