Roos Moggré will start working as a permanent substitute for Jeroen Pauw and will therefore leave EenVandaag. Will she be paid full-time for that job at BnnVara? “A few months of work!”

Roos Moggré is added to the Pauw & De Wit presentation team. Jeroen Pauw wants to spend the winter in Curaçao every year, where he has a second home, and that is why BnnVara has to bring in a third presenter for this talk show. Roos was chosen and she gives up her job at AvroTros, where she presents EenVandaag.

Moggré & De Wit?

TV authority Tina Nijkamp speaks of ‘a big step for her’. “Because she has never presented a major talk show before. A number of pilots have been recorded, I received in my DM. About four men or women were tried and one of them was Roos Moggré and she apparently came out on top.”

She continues in her podcast Tina’s TV Update: “It is unclear how much work she will get, because is this a full-time job, like EenVandaag is? That remains to be seen, because when Jeroen Pauw is back, it will simply be called Pauw & De Wit again. Whether it will soon be called Moggré & De Wit is not yet clear. I honestly think so.”

Couple months

Tina hopes that Roos will switch for more than just a substitute role. “I don’t know what else she will do at BnnVara, because a working year obviously does not consist of a few months in the winter. It could just be that, and perhaps Pauw & De Wit is also anticipating this, they might want to broadcast a few more days.”

For example, Pauw & De Wit currently does not broadcast on Fridays. “Sunday is also left. Then there is no talk show in the Netherlands at the moment, except for RTL Tonight.”
