Black metal musicians Snorre Ruch and Rune Krieghr Røstad have disappeared. In addition to the musicians, a woman who was possibly in the same party as Ruch and Røstad has also disappeared in the area.
The search for the trio has continued since Thursday. According to the police, the search area has been expanded to the Storheia area in Trøndelag in central Norway.
According to the authorities, the terrain in the area is steep and difficult to navigate. There was a lot of fog in Storheia on Thursday. According to the weather forecast, noisy winds of up to 30 meters per second and a drop in temperature are predicted for the region.
There is one rescue worker Fosen Folket injured during the search, and has been taken to hospital.
Another one of the missing, Snorre Ruch, is known from the black metal band Thorns. His guitar playing style has had a significant influence on Norwegian black metal since the early 90s.
Another missing person is Rune Krieghr Røstad, Slagmaur’s guitarist and bassist.
The trio had gone hiking on Tuesday and have not been heard from since.
