Representing the Seattle Kraken Kaapo Kako scored his first goal of the NHL season on Friday morning and was injured shortly after the hit.
Kakko led in the opening set by Jaden Schwartz shot in and tied the game with a hit against the Winnipeg Jets at 1–1.
The hit was the first of the season for the Finn who played seven matches. The second was injured in the fall, because his arm was broken in a training match.

Another setback came soon after the goal. According to CBS The second was injured in the substitution immediately after the goal, and was unable to continue the match. Kraken informed that the Finnish attacker is suffering from some kind of lower body injury.
The club did not elaborate on the situation in which the injury occurred. Emerald City, a website reporting on the Kraken, shared a video on the social media service X of the exchange in which Kakko was injured.
After the start, the Finnish forward turned to pursue the puck and fell on his right leg. Kakko continued to skate for a while with a strained feeling, until he headed towards the changing bench and the locker room.
– The second went into the tunnel in pain. It looks like he hurt himself in this crash.

Seattle too Eeli Tolvanen succeeded in scoring in the match. Tolvanen hit the puck directly from the pass into the goal and finished the very important 3-3 equalizer goal in the final set.
Kraken won the match 5–3. Jordan Eberle scored the last two hits in the final set.
Lehkonen hit
Artturi Lehkonen in turn scored his eighth goal of the season against the Buffalo Sabres. The Colorado Avalanche won the match 6–3. Martin Necas was in tune, because he tapped the powers 2+2.
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 27 saves against Buffalo in goal.
