The cover of the book is strongly reminiscent of an Arno album, although not consciously. Rather, it is the idea behind the Ostensche plaote, the record store at the Mercatordok. “The pun of a ploate, a plaice, and vinyl. Where do you find them? In the sea. I thought: I’m going to pretend I’m going into the sea and I caught two records. A plaice and (vinyl). That idea came from that. But when I saw the result, I could only conclude that it must also have been a bit of an ode to Arno.”
Next year, Piv Huvluv will present his ninth theater show ‘DJ Loebas’ about a deceased childhood friend. And now again he is on stage with a record player. “That has become my trademark. The audience does not accept me playing without a record player.”
