It will be a Thursday dedicated to the national teams: eight matches that can be followed and with kick-off scheduled for 6pm and 8.45pm. The spotlight is on Gattuso’s Italy, which will face Moldova at 8.45pm on the penultimate day of world cup qualifying. The Azzurri have never lost any of their previous six matches, the last of which was the first leg on 9 June, which ended 2-0 for Italy. Gattuso and his boys could still have a chance to go first in the group, even if we will have to wait for the outcome of Norway-Estonia at 6pm (and hope that Halland and his teammates fall at home). Among the other matches of the World Cup qualifiers, France-Ukraine will also be staged at the Parc des Princes (with all the controversies that have accompanied these days), England-Serbia and Ireland-Portugal. However, there is also space for the U21 European Championship in Slovakia, with five matches broadcast from 5pm to 8.45pm.
