The Golden State Warriors are far below expectations with an even record of 6-6. Draymond Green sounded the alarm after the clear 101:137 defeat against the Oklahoma City Thunder and publicly questioned the attitude of his teammates.

“Back then, everyone was committed to winning,” explained Green, referring to the Warriors’ strong final spurt last season after signing Jimmy Butler: “It doesn’t feel like that at the moment.”

As usual, the 35-year-old didn’t mince his words. “Everyone has their own goals in this league,” he added. “But you have to achieve these goals within the confines of the team. If that doesn’t work, you have to give up your goals, otherwise they become the reason for yourself being excluded.”

Green did not name specific names, but emphasized that “everyone needs to take more responsibility.” Golden State has lost three of the last four games, Stephen Curry returned against OKC after his short injury break, but only scored 11 points (4/13 FG).

Looking at the schedule, it doesn’t get any easier for the Warriors: On Thursday night (2 a.m.) there is an away game against the San Antonio Spurs (8-2).
