Neymar’s return to his boyhood club FC Santos is anything but smooth. The Brazilian striker is currently not only causing disappointment in terms of sport – dissatisfaction is also growing off the pitch. Now there was a new escalation in a league game.
In the 2-0 defeat against Flamengo, the 33-year-old was substituted five minutes before the end – and reacted in front of the cameras with visible anger at coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda. Neymar had previously complained loudly about the tactics and criticized teammates for defensive mistakes.

Despite the incidents, the club does not want to impose any sanctions, according to the report. Neymar has since apologized to the team. His behavior was not directed against teammates or coaches, but was due to his displeasure with the referee.
The frustration with the former Barça and PSG professional is said to be increasing in the dressing room. According to insiders, the verdict is harsh: Neymar doesn’t help the team and instead keeps causing unrest.
