It is November 11, or the eleventh of the eleventh, and that means the official start of the carnival season. That means fun, music and lots of beer. This heralds a period of celebration for Brabant and Limburg. Even though the real carnival only starts in February, Den Bosch, or Oeteldonk, is already packed with carnival revelers. What is the magic of carnival? And how much do partying people spend during an evening at carnival? Reporter Hein Keijser immersed himself in the revelry of Oeteldonk during the eleventh of the eleventh and found out what makes carnival so special.
