Christmas singing in the stadium: these are the prices

One day before Christmas Eve, the Eintracht Stadium in Braunschweig will once again become a festive stage. Around 4,000 visitors are expected to take part in the big sing-along event.
Once again, the Eintracht Stadium in Braunschweig is transformed into a sea of lights and singing during the Christmas season: the popular Christmas singing will take place there for the fourth time on Tuesday, December 23, 2025. Starts at 4:30 p.m., doors open at 3 p.m.
Around 4,000 people are expected in the north curve when traditional and modern Christmas carols are played. The event is organized by Applaus Kulturproduktionen, supported by Volkswagen Financial Services AG and the Braunschweigischer Kulturgenossenschaft Foundation. Its director Maria Berghahn emphasizes: “Singing Christmas carols together is one of our most beautiful cultural traditions. Filling the Eintracht Stadium with music as a place of lived passion and identity is a particularly beautiful combination of culture and community.”
Organizer Paul Kunze is also happy about the success of the format: “It’s hard to believe that the Christmas singing in the Eintracht Stadium is taking place for the fourth time. We are planning to expand the event in 2026. This year, however, tickets will be in short supply again,” he says.
As in previous years, Gerd-Peter Münden, known for the music education project “Class! We Sing,” will be the moderator of the evening. A band and the bel canto children’s and youth choir under the direction of Maik Garling provide musical accompaniment to the evening. The Braunschweig State Theater is involved as a co-producer for the second time.
So that everyone can sing along easily, there is also a songbook with all the lyrics available this time – to take with you and reuse next year.
Pre-sales have already started on Friday, November 7th, 2025. Tickets are available at weihnachtssingen-braunschweig.de as well as at the concert box office, in the Eintracht fan shop and at the music store “Musikalien Bartels” on Wilhelmstrasse. Seats cost 14 euros for adults and 7 euros for children. Standing room costs 9 euros (for adults) and 5 euros (for children).
