Tragic day at the ATP Finals in Turin: Two separate deaths occurred on Monday on the sidelines of the tournament for the eight best tennis players of the year.
As the Gazetta dello Sport reported, among others, the two people who died were two men.
A 70-year-old spectator collapsed in the fan area in front of the hall, while the second person (78) collapsed in the stands during the game between Taylor Fritz and Lorenzo Musetti. Neither of their lives could be saved despite emergency measures that were quickly taken.
There was initially no official communication from the organizer ATP regarding the events.
