Tommi Liimatainen’s company Hype Productions turns 20 this year. The company was supposed to celebrate its 20th anniversary at Tavara-asema in Tampere on Saturday, December 27.
Ville Liimatainen’s glam rock band Flinch was part of the party night’s artist line-up, rock bands Doom Unit and The Grammers and artist Jann Wilde. Hanna Pakarinen, Pirkko Mannola and Vieno Kekkonen were announced as the hosts of the evening.
Ticket– however, it appears from the ticket office that the event has been canceled and tickets will no longer be sold.
Iltalehti reached Tommi Liimatainen to comment on the situation. Liimatainen confirms that the party night is not coming.
According to the manager, the cancellation is due to financial and technical reasons.
– Ticket sales were so poor that we decided to celebrate in a different way. Times are tough and I’m looking forward to the new with a happy mind despite everything, Liimatainen tells Iltalehte.

Tommi Liimatainen told Iltalehte in October 2025 about his career. Liimatainen started 20 years ago as a manager in his younger brother Jonne Aaron’s band Negative.
– One morning I was listening to the Ramones at home, lit a cigarette and decided that I would quit my good day job without knowing what would happen.
After the rock years, Liimatainen moved to the hit world. He worked for 16 years as Katri Helena’s manager. Katri Helena ended her career in August of this year.
Liimatainen said that he experienced burnout for the third time last spring. At the moment, however, everything is fine.
– In the past, our life has been completely rhythmic according to Katri’s schedule. Now it’s an exciting situation when there are no schedules. The only schedules that require a watch are mine, Liimatainen described.
