In the last talk of the year, from News and Edhasa Dialogue Seriesthis time it is the turn of two important historians: Mirta Lobato and María Bjerg. They will talk about “Lives in motion: Immigration and politics in Argentina”. Fernando Fagnani, editor of Edhasa, will be the moderator of the dialogue.

Mirta Lobato is a professor at the University of Buenos Airesauthor of the books “Life in the factories. Work, protest and politics in a working-class community, Berisso (1904-1970)”, “History of women workers in Argentina, 1869-1960”, “The working-class press” and editor of “When women reigned. Beauty, virtue and power in 20th century Argentina”.

María Bjerg has a doctorate in History from the University of Buenos Aires and conducted postdoctoral studies at the universities of Chicago and California, Berkeley. She is a CONICET researcher and professor at the National University of Quilmes. His latest book is Stories of immigration in Argentina” (Edhasa).
