Entertainment legend Danny talks about his health situation.

Danny and Helmi head to the southern sun again. PASI LEISMA

An entertainment legend Danny83, and Helmi Loukasmäki24, recently returned from the Spanish sun. The two enjoyed themselves together in Fuengirola, where Danny also climbed the stage. So the operated knee carries.

– This time I didn’t run normal beach runs on the Spanish coast, Danny explains to Iltalehti by phone.

He says that he and Helmi are on a car trip to Ilmajoki to visit his parents.

– We are celebrating Father’s Day there at Helmi’s request.

It’s almost been a year since Danny’s knee replacement. It was done in Tampere on New Year’s. The recovery time has been long.

– Yes, I am grateful that I can move again, and better all the time. Many thanks to Finnish surgery, which knows how to help us people who are already getting a little older, he mumbles.

The gigs in Fuengirola at restaurant Kuko sharpened the musical advice and gave joy to life. They were a part Back To The Sixties Goes Spain event.

At the same time, however, he admits that age plays tricks on some issues.

– I get out of breath quite easily when walking, that’s the bad part at the moment, he says.

Helmi is known to have advised Danny to jump his leg, but recently the legend said that he didn’t feel it was necessary. At this point, he doesn’t say either judge or judge.

Instead, Danny says Back To The Sixties Goes Spain –the event concretized how great the musicians’ profession is.

– It just makes me think that people die from that group all the time, like Gugi Kokljusch a little while ago.

Gigs in moderation

Danny and Helmi recently became singers Dimitri from Keisk at the premiere of the narrative documentary. There were familiar faces, such as Remu Aaltonen, Goran Stubb and Pirkko Mannola. Such social outings please Danny and make everyday life varied.

At the event, Danny also heard from a seriously ill influencer in the music and entertainment industry Lasse Norrensen about the situation from Remu Aalto.

– Remu said that he calls Lasse every day, he says.

– Lasse used to be Warner’s spokesman, and at that time he was also the host of the Danny tour. He hosted 25 shows. Lassen’s importance as a positive spokesperson and professional in the field is great.

Danny says he does gigs these days when he feels like it.

– The demand seems to be quite comfortable now, but we haven’t really been after them. One or two gigs a month is a good pace, he says.

A shooting star can’t get enough of the sun. This week, Danny heads to the Canary Islands with Helmi for a week. There they do a few gigs for their own pleasure.

In the spring, the duo will do a cruise gig.

– That little nice togetherness, and the music is present, Danny sums up.

– And then it may be that Thailand will also call during the spring.
