A 17-year-old boy was arrested in Etten-Leur on Sunday evening because he had a fake gun with him. Someone saw the young man cycling past with the firearm and called the police.
The police started looking for the cyclist. “When the boy was found, a fake weapon was indeed found. A report is being drawn up against the suspect,” the police said on X.
“It is extremely dangerous to take to the streets with fake weapons. Especially if they appear real from a distance. We act as if these weapons were real. With all possible consequences for the suspect!”
