Renze Klamer has suddenly taken his Instagram page offline after years and that is causing speculation. Is it really because of the very young student he hooked? “Something different!”
Things are not going well for RTL 4 star Renze Klamer. He thought he would make it big in the commercial sector, but was severely demoted by his boss Peter van der Vorst. Now he is only allowed to rotate as a talk show host of the generic program RTL Tonight, which does not appeal to viewers at all. In other words: TV career in the doldrums.
Sudden Insta exit
Privately, Renze has now devoted herself to student Hannah, who is only in her early twenties. She is the ex-dating of RoddelPraat presenter Dennis Schouten and apparently enjoys having a famous friend. According to Victor Vlam, the speculation about that relationship is the reason why Renze has now suddenly disappeared from Instagram.
TV authority Tina Nijkamp thinks there is another reason. “Something was recently written about an alleged relationship with a young lady and that he therefore deleted his Instagram. I don’t believe that at all,” she says in the New Revu.
Love life
According to Victor, the relationship with that very young student affects Renze’s image, but Tina disagrees. “That kind of gossip has no influence on how seriously someone is taken. Viewership figures depend on line-ups, topics and preparation, not on a love life.”
She continues: “I honestly think he deleted his Instagram because he doesn’t want to be confronted with all those negative opinions about RTL Tonight. I understand that very well. I see him above all as someone who takes his profession seriously and is far from done with it.”
Very nice
Tina thinks Renze will recover. “I think he is a very nice and talented presenter who stands out from the rest. He is younger than the average talk show host, well-informed, always reads extensively and asks strong questions. It is not without reason that he was nominated for the Sonja Barend Award last year.”
She concludes: “What I especially appreciate is that he takes his work seriously. When he does his talk show, he is fully involved in it. He doesn’t just do it on the fly and you can see that. I like people who take something really seriously and he definitely has that.”
