Nuremberg got off to not one, but two good starts in Dresden. Fürth also scores – thanks to a last-minute goal.

1. FC Nürnberg achieved their next victory in the 2nd Bundesliga. Coach Miroslav Klose’s team narrowly won the Friday evening game at Dynamo Dresden 2-1 (1-1). Rafael Lubach gave the “Club” the lead after just 13 seconds, it was the fastest goal of the second division season so far. After the restart, a similar picture emerged: Tim Janisch had Nuremberg celebrating just five minutes after the break. Dominik Kother plays for Dresden (45th minute +1).

After a weak start to the season, Klose and his team are now unbeaten in five matches. Newly promoted Dresden, on the other hand, is still waiting for its first home win and has therefore been without a win for nine matches, and coach Thomas Stamm’s team remains in a direct relegation zone.

The Dresden fans were still standing under a huge block flag when the ball was already in their own goal: Artem Stepanow, only 18 years old, fed Lubach, who hit the top right corner. Dynamo then tried hard, but the guests remained more dangerous.

Things got spectacular with an overhead kick from Mohamed Ali Zoma, Dresden goalkeeper Lennart Grill was there (31′). Shortly before the break, Kother equalized with a low shot.

Dresden’s hopes were dashed right at the start of the second half when Janisch scored to put the Franks back in the lead. Afterwards, Nuremberg was closer to the third goal than Dresden to the second.

In the parallel game, there was a winner late on. Greuther Fürth has ended his negative run and thus taken the pressure off the shoulders of coach Thomas Kleine. Thanks to a dream goal from Jannik Dehm deep in added time (90+5), the Franconians won 1-0 (0-0) against Preußen Münster; it was their first success after five league games without a win in a row. In the table, the Fürth team climbed from relegation place 16 to midfield.

“For me it has no endgame character,” Kleine emphasized on the Sky microphone before the encounter. And his team didn’t seem nervous at first and played courageously forward. David Abrangao’s attempt went past the visitors’ goal on the left (4th).
