The police will carry out additional patrols both visibly and anonymously and, if necessary, check suspicious vehicles or persons. Intervention teams with motorcycles, dog handlers and drones are also deployed.
The focus is on neighborhoods near access roads and motorways, where itinerant groups of perpetrators often strike. “It usually concerns gangs that commit several burglaries in a short period of time and then move to another region,” the police say.
