Rob Jetten, probably the new Prime Minister of our country, is on the cover of the latest Story with his sweetheart Nicolás Keenan. ‘Relaxing together on the hockey field’, reads the headline.
Shortly after his election win, Rob Jetten was spotted on the hockey field by Story paparazzo Edwin Smulders, together with his Argentinian sweetheart Nicolás Keenan. The photos are on the cover of the latest edition this week. “Last weekend we finally relaxed on the hockey field,” we read in the gossip magazine. ‘Double happiness for Rob Jetten!’
Pouring rain
Edwin did not have an easy job, writes the Story. “After the hectic election week with a glorious result for Rob, the D66 leader is now busy forming. The past weekend was therefore used to enjoy some free time together,” we read in the magazine.
“On the hockey field of Little Switzerland, Story photographer Edwin Smulders was able to capture the two radiant under their umbrella despite the pouring rain.”
Biggest fun
The two seem very happy, according to Story. “They had a lot of fun, even though Nico was temporarily injured and had to watch his team from the sidelines in the match against Bloemendaal. But the close company of his Rob made up for everything.”
Nicolás is known as a hockey hunk. How come? Rob told the media this week: “The first time it was on the front page of the Story and then Christianne van der Wal once used it as a minister in a talk show and since then we have never gotten rid of it, but when I use that term, we have a fight at home.”
Evert pissed
Evert Santegoeds, the editor-in-chief of Privé, is angry about this. He states that he made up that name. “The Story?! He told me that it was brought to his attention in every way in the morning when it was in the Privé. He had seen an advertisement in De Telegraaf, then went to get the Privé and went to Nicolás.”
It was then on the beach of Scheveningen, Evert said in the podcast Strictly Private. “Rob then took the Privé out of his bag. That’s how it started. He responded very sportily to it. That hockey hunk has stuck with him, because that’s how it was on Rob Jetten’s phone for a long time. At a certain point Nicolás was done with it.”
