In the Murrisonstraat in Rekkem, close to the French border, the sea of flames can be seen from afar around 1 am tonight. Three parked cars are ablaze. The fire must have started in the middle car and spread to the other two vehicles.
The fire brigade quickly got the fire under control, but the three cars were completely burned out. Police and fire brigade assume arson, because the passenger door of the middle car was open.
