Albert states that the presentation of the Oscars has been very boring in recent years. “I have to be honest: the morning after the Oscars you always wake up and then you think: well, just watch Teletext, watch TV what happened. “And it hasn’t gotten any more fun in recent years, a bit boring, so when I read ‘Will Smith wins Oscar and packs a punch’, I thought: well, I’ll have to see what happened there! Then I have to say: something is finally happening at those Oscars,” he continues.

He thinks it’s nice that we can finally talk about an Oscar ceremony again. “It was political talk all those years and people were being a bit good and now at least something is happening.”
What does Albert think of the blow? “Will Smith who thinks: I won’t let a comedian walk over me, ‘they don’t touch my wife and I’ll work on it’. So I think that’s really cool, Tooske, I think that’s cool to be honest. Especially if you have played Muhammad Ali in the past, that you also show that you have learned something from that role.”
