U21 national striker Nicoló Tresoldi and FC Brugge really annoyed FC Barcelona and coach Hansi Flick in the Champions League.

Tresoldi gave the Belgians an early lead (6th), in the end Barca saved a 3:3 (1:2). The other German legionnaires Leroy Sané with Galatasaray Istanbul, Nick Woltemade and Malik Thiaw (Newcastle United) as well as Yann Bisseck (Inter Milan) were all able to celebrate victories on Wednesday evening.

In addition to the German-Italian Tresoldi, fellow striker Carlos Forbs shone for outsiders Bruges with a brace (17th/64th), Barcelona came back three times thanks to Ferran Torres (8th), Lamine Yamal (61st) and an own goal from ex-Düsseldorfer Christos Tzolis (77th) and are now seven points outside the top 10.

Inter is still one of the absolute top teams in the premier class, but had to struggle in the 2-1 (1-0) win against the Kazakh champions Qairat Almaty. Lautaro Martínez (45th) and Carlos Augusto (67th) scored their fourth win in the fourth game, the Italians conceded their first goal and are only behind leaders FC Bayern and Arsenal thanks to the worse goal difference. Bisseck was in the starting line-up.

Galatasaray celebrates against Ajax

As did DFB strikers Woltemade and Thiaw in Newcastle’s 2-0 (1-0) win against Athletic Bilbao. The Magpies took their third win and moved into the top eight, with Dan Burn (11th) and Joelinton (49th) scoring the goals.

Galatasaray also has nine points and, without the injured Ilkay Gündogan, achieved an ultimately safe 3-0 (0-0) win against bottom club Ajax Amsterdam.

The outstanding player was once again Victor Osimhen, who with his hat-trick (59th/65th/78th) now leads the top scorers list in the premier class with six goals. The Nigerian scored twice with a hand penalty, and Sané took the lead with an exemplary cross.
