Actor and city councillor Riku Nieminen39, (left) celebrated the christening of his twins on Saturday. Nieminen’s twins were born in September.
Nieminen does not reveal the names of his children, but uses familiar nicknames for them Pekka Dumbtail – from a children’s fairy tale.
– “Pilli and Pulla” got their names last Saturday! Right now, when the world is storming, it feels like hope and love, which were by no means missing from our party, are somehow punk and radical, the actor writes.
– It is extremely unfortunate, because you would allow these to be present to all people in everyday life and at parties at least regularly. Last Saturday they were experienced, in the company of family and friends, he adds.
People known from the public, such as a pianist, also came to the event Iiro Rantala. Nieminen says that at the event, video calls were made to those people who could not make it to the venue.
There are large paintings of people on the walls of the party space and a large lamp hangs from the ceiling. The tables have, among other things, white tablecloths, candles and water jugs. Judging from the pictures, the event featured a music show performed by children.
In Nieminen’s photos, the other child wears a white outfit and a bow headband. The other child, on the other hand, has dark pants, a vest and a white collared shirt.
Nieminen is dressed for the big day in a dark suit decorated with a yellow bow. His spouse, on the other hand, was wearing a white dress with black patterns.

Nieminen already has two children who are actors Annika Poijärven with. The couple divorced in 2020.
Nieminen remarried in 2023. Nieminen’s wife rarely appears on her husband’s social media.
