Soufiane El-Faouzi has been one of the big winners at FC Schalke 04 so far – also in terms of market value, where he went up from 400,000 to 1.5 million euros in the October update. The 23-year-old midfielder’s advisor, Tim Jerat from feel soccer GmbH, confirmed “many inquiries from clubs” for his client to “Sky” last week. S04 coach Miron Muslic has now reacted favorably to the statement.
“That doesn’t bother me at all,” Muslic is told by the “WAZ“Quoted. “It’s positive when reports are made about Schalke players. Then I know that the boys are performing and doing well. We’re happy that we have players who perform consistently week after week and arouse interest from other leagues and other teams.”
El-Faouzi was even loosely linked to local arch-rival Borussia Dortmund by the pay-TV broadcaster. Muslic acknowledged that the eighth, who moved from the 3rd league from Alemannia Aachen to the Royal Blues for 200,000 euros, was a player who had “used the last few months” to “draw attention to himself. I am in daily contact with him. Just as stable as he appears in the game, he is just as stable in his head and in his environment.”

However, Schalke fans don’t have to worry about their new top performer for the time being, the newspaper reports. El-Faouzi has signed a long-term contract that does not contain an exit clause. In the S04 forum at Transfermarkt, user “kuzorra” writes: “The boy suits us very well and is already the favorite of the masses. I like the way he plays and his charisma. He can stay for a long time, or forever.” Fan “Saneforever” thinks: “Without adjusting to the current performance (in the event of promotion, the salary adjustment will certainly already be regulated in the contract), I don’t think he will be able to be retained if he doesn’t get promoted. Understandable. Everyone is looking for the best for themselves. It would certainly be possible for him to go to a first league and earn more there.”
