This evening Corrado Augias returns to prime time with a new episode of the program which from 2023 accompanies the public with insights from an informative perspective and with expert guests. The theme chosen for this episode revolves around a crucial question: “Who cares about the truth today?“. In an era in which populism and authoritarianism are advancing and the most sophisticated technologies are often used to control, direct and manipulate public opinion, seeking the truth becomes an act of courage. In a historical moment dominated by fake news, digital propaganda and conflicts fought on the terrain of misinformationthe truth seems to have lost the universal value it once had, transforming itself into one opinion among many.
With the help of his guests, Augias will try to understand whether the era of truth has really come to an end or whether, on the contrary, this very historical moment makes it even more urgent to defend and put the search for truthfundamental to understanding and protecting the freedom of thought.
