When Rob Kooyman and his wife looked at camera images, it became clear what probably happened to the missing craftwork, a round plate with a diameter of one and a half meters.
“Some time ago we went to our son’s party,” Kooyman explains. “We placed the object my wife was working on on our trailer.” When he had to leave with the trailer a little later, Kooyman overlooked the plate.
“We looked at the camera footage and saw that it was indeed on the trailer,” he explains. Drive back for a moment, you might say. The bad luck is that the record already fell off the trailer on September 20, so it was discovered too late.
