The high jumper threw up in the forest.

Ella Junnila’s last season was a disaster. Now he is looking for another promotion. Jenni Gästgivar

Ella Junnila’s new training routine in Belgium has taken a toll.

The high jumper tells on Instagram how the new coach Tia Hellebaut has made the training group run in violent amounts. Junnila is not used to that.

– Since there were so few running meters at the bottom and under-recovery last winter, I guessed that the first weeks of training would be hard. Especially on the pulmonary axis. In the first hill training, I was pretty sure that one of the lungs had at least burst, and even in the next one, I vomited stomach acid into the forest when it was so bad, the Finnish star said.

– But yesterday I already told the coach after running training: “it wasn’t graceful, but I didn’t die” (Finnish. it wasn’t pretty, but I didn’t die.) Progress, then, he sighed.

In Junnila’s opinion, her jumping thrives on good speed running, so Hellebaut’s training philosophy suits her just fine.

It still doesn’t make training any easier. Immediately after returning home from running exercises, the SE woman posted a photo in her Instagram stories where she was lying with her head on a pillow and looking at the ceiling.

– Yes, today’s training was successful. But now you can happily move towards an easy week. Goodbye, and let’s look at the situation again next week, he wrote.
