A civil war was fought in Rio de Janeiro last week between the police and gang members. More than 100 people have been killed and the images seem more from a civil war than a police action. The residents of the favela have listed all the deaths in their neighborhood to show the world what the consequences have been. We talk to Robert Smits, Favela aid worker in the city, about the situation in the tense area.
