Music and entertainment influencer Lasse Norres says Helsingin Sanomat in an interview that he has cancer. According to life expectancy, Norrek has a few months to live.

Norres’ symptoms started as fatigue last winter and the diagnosis was given when there was still snow on the ground. According to Norres, the treatments started right away.

– When you saw patients from other departments in the smoking area, they had not been encouraged to smoke outside. I was told that it’s good if you move, let’s go, Norres says in an interview.

Norres gave up his candidacy in the municipal elections in the spring. Norres has been elected four times as a representative of the coalition to the Vantaa city council.

Norres continued to work, but according to the interview, he learned in August that the cancer had spread. According to Helsingin Sanomat, the doctor estimates that Norrek has only a few months left to live.

According to the interview, the doctor had told Norres that he would not see Christmas.

Life has given Norres a lot.

– But this could have been continued, Norres tells Helsingin Sanomat.

A long-time music influencer, Norres has worked with, for example, Katri Helena, Kari Tapio, Remu Aaltonen, Danny, Paula Koivuniemi, Juha Tapio and numerous other artists.

In the 1980s, he was the manager of the band Dingo and spokesperson for Finnlevy. Norres has also hosted television programs and Radio Nostalgia mornings.
