The new series starts tonight on RTV Drenthe Bökker’s List to see. In this eight-part music series, Hendrik Jan Bökkers presents weekly songs by artists from Overijssel, Gelderland and Drenthe.
Together with the artists, Bökkers will look for the stories behind sixteen special regional songs from the Lower Saxony area. He visits places that are important for the creation of the songs and plays the songs live on location with the musicians.
In Drenthe Bökkers meets Erwin Java, Rosa da Silva, Tangarine and AJ Plug, among others. Bökker’s List is a musical journey through the region, full of surprising encounters and regional music in all styles.
The series is a collaboration between RTV Drenthe, RTV Oost and Omroep Gelderland, and can be seen from tonight on RTV Drenthe.
