National basketball player Franz Wagner suffered the next setback in the NBA with the Orlando Magic.
The world and European champion and his team lost to the Chicago Bulls 98:110, Wagner only managed 17 points and seven rebounds in the second home defeat in a row.
The Bulls pulled away from the end of the third quarter and also benefited from the hosts’ weak shooting percentage. Tristan da Silva contributed eight points for the team from Florida in the third game of the season, while the Magic’s top scorer was Paolo Banchero with 24 points. Orlando now has five away games in a row.
Oklahoma continues to be confident
Things are going much better for Isaiah Hartenstein with the NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder. The defending champions beat the Atlanta Hawks 117:100 and lead the Western Conference with three wins from three games.
Hartenstein had 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Chet Holmgren led the way with 31 and preseason MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 30 points.
“There is still room for improvement for us”Holmgren then concluded: “We can go out and win, and that’s exactly what we did.”
