Patrick Laine had surgery for a muscle injury. It keeps the Finn on the sidelines for 3–4 months.
After the operation, the winger shared on Instagram a boxing legend Muhammad Ali wise words once uttered:
– You don’t lose if you fall to the ground. You lose if you stay on the ground.
Laine is referring to her own situation here, because the former goalkeeper has experienced really hard times both mentally and physically in recent years, but has always come back.
Laine’s spouse Jordan Leigh Laine shared her husband’s message with her own on his Instagram account.
– I am always proud of your perseverance. You fall seven times, but you get up eight times, Leigh commented on the Montreal gambler’s attitude.
Laine had time to play in the early season before his injury, only five matches with an output of 0+1.
